Motivational interviewing is a collaborative person-centred form of guiding to elicit and strengthen motivation for change (William Miller and Stephen Rollnick, 2009). It is an effective diagnostic and therapeutic strategy. It is helpful in working with clients’ ambivalence and resistance, which disables them in implementing needed and crucial changes in their life. It is an innovatory approach based on empirical data.
The success in our life depends on the ability to set significant and specific goals.
It is common among Motivational Interviewing experts to encourage their clients to present and fulfil their own goals. They support the clients in achieving what they truly want. They assist the clients in self-deciding about their life, so they could not only drift with the wave depending just on circumstances.
We offer you a three-day-long intensive workshop concerning Motivational Interviewing. We will focus on goals oriented work. We will carefully analyse the process of goals setting, monitoring and fulfilling according to the rules of Motivational Interviewing.
Learning practical skills and techniques that can be applied immediately in your work is our main concern. We will also present the theoretical background of the approach.
Everyone will receive full and detailed educative materials. The participation will be confirmed with a certificate.
